When acclaimed textile designer Michael Golden recently discovered a process for reproducing his vivid color nature photographs on silk using eco-safe dyes, he made wall hangings of a few select favorite images. Framed with a sewn panel of Dupioni silk, these hangings-suspended between 2 bamboo poles-capture the delicate patterns and hues of bamboo's leaves, stalks and stems. The two panels create a serene visual harmony together when hung in any room-- bedroom or beyond-- as a contemporary take on a traditional Asian hanging scroll.
